Good news!!!!

We have couches!!! AND...our Plymouth townhouse rented!!! AND....wait for it...the driver called and said, Tuesday. So, Tuesday, life will normalize. It also looks as if karma has started to work with us.

This weekend was pretty normal.

Saturday, I swore off Oxnard completely, trying to find the DMV, which apparently is closed on Saturdays. I mean really, who closes the DMV on Saturday. I also realized how much I actually hate the city and its forever long stop lights. I told Mike that I will never go there again.

It was actually cloudy in Camarillo!!!! And for the first time since I arrived, I actually felt ever-so-slight sprinkles of rain drops!!!

The rest of the day was better. We headed out to the Underwood Family Farm in Moorpark, which was absolutely my real favorite place in the world. There we picked peaches, nectarines, romaine lettuce, yellow raspberries, strawberries, bell peppers, cucumbers, zuccini, the list goes on and on. I seriously have a true love for garden vegetables. I think I should own a farm.

Anyhow, that night we relaxed on our new couches, watched MN baseball and were just a family. I think it was the first night that I felt this place was home. And maybe truthfully, I think it may have been the first time I have felt at home with my family ever. I don't think I felt at home in Plymouth being that it was always my place of work and never a place for ME to relax.

Today was just an R&R day. Mike visited a club, nothing even remotely comparing to Lifetime, I ran to Target for like the millionth time (where I got a bottle on wine on a Sunday!), and we visited with some neighbors. Mike has been cooking me fabulous meals on the grill!!! Cooking fresh here is totally awesome.

Well, tomorrow it's off to Thousand Oaks to the DMV (I'll get this right after all), a stop at the park, and preparing for the moving truck on Tuesday. Send us some happy thoughts for Tuesday!

And by the way, Mike is watching Titanic on cable.
