This morning has been BREATHTAKING, to put it lightly! Every one should do this drive at least once in their lifetime! I never realized America could be so beautiful. I can't believe I have waited 29 years to see this! We drove into the snow covered Rockies and the driving has been crazy! The temps have fallen to 34 degrees and the clouds and fog dance so perfect. The mountain lakes and streams are peaceful. You feel so small next to these gigantic beings. We've passed through Vail and Aspen and now we are driving in the Colorado River Gorge. The tunnels are awesome. This drive is no work at all. This is truly God' country. 561 miles to Vegas. Vegas baby! We'll be up five hunny by midnight!
