Stuck in some L.A. traffic on the way to Brett & Ania's place. Last night was a late night, so I was unable to post. We had dinner with a co-worker of Mike's in Spanish Hills. Yesterday we viewed the house we like again, we toured 3 elementary schools, visited some churches, went to the Chamber, checked out the Park & Rec and went to the most beautiful city library ever!
Today we visited 3 preschools for Peter. I really liked the Accredited preschool at the United Methodist Church. It reminded me most of Wayzata Community. That was the hardest part for me. I shed a few tears after turning in the paperwork. The ending of an era. My heart will always be there... In my kid's baby years...in the friends that I have made...where I have grown into the mother I am. Moving on is hard.
On our way out today we drove through Malibu and saw the dolphins. The pelicans are awesome to watch.
Soon I will be on a plane ride home to my kids. I miss them. I feel so disconnected from them with all the changes. And now begins my temporary life as a single mom with my kids who are really going to miss their daddy. And me too...
