So, my kids are out of diapers!!! I can't believe it. We had a Happy Potty Party for Peter on Sunday and he has been totally dry for 2 1/2 days!!! I am so impressed. I thought it was going to be harder, being that he is a boy and all, but the whole training experience was very similar to Lily's. It took a total of 3 days to achieve complete dryness. I think there were a few key factors that made it all fall into place, but overall at 2 years and 8 months, he was ready. He just needed that little nudge to get the ball rolling. I highly recommend the book Potty Train Your Child in Just One Day by Teri Crane.
Now that we don't have any kids in diapers, I feel very free.... We will seriously have to consider whether we want to enter diaperland again. It's such a relief.
