Mike and I had a fabulous weekend. Friday, we attended Mike's company party, where we stayed out way too late, having too much fun. Saturday, I took Lily out on ice skates for the first time. Then we continued our mother/daughter day by having hot soup at Panera, renting the Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses movie and playing/beating her Barbie Princess computer game. Meanwhile, Mike took Peter out for root beers and burgers and to Monster Jam at the Metrodome. Sunday, we took both Lily and Peter out to the skating rink. Then we ended up here for a nice family dinner of Creamy Curry Sweet Potato Soup, Broccoli and Raisin Penne Pasta, Sweet Glazed Carrots, and a Lemon Pound Cake. I even managed to watch a little Desperate Housewives. It was such a relaxing weekend. I want more.
