Summer is flying by and so much is changing. Here is the whirlwind of my life.
Peter has learned to jump, I ran the Urbanlife Half Marathon last Sunday, my sister Chrissy is pregnant with a GIRL!!! (due in January), Lily knows her sign language ABC's, I commissioned to get a port-a-potty at our park this summer, Lily's friend Julia is moving away next week, Mike is trying to qualify for Boston Marathon and is running Twin Cities Marathon with me, Peter's favorite sentence is "play cars with me," I went on girl's weekend a couple of weekends ago and had a blast, we took Lily, Peter and Finn to the Children's Museum this past week and had a great time, Mike and I know like 8 couples that are pregnant and due in the winter/spring, Lily is having a princess party for her 4th birthday party complete with horse and carriage, Mike's brother Joe is going to start tutoring Lily in piano in the fall, we got a new grill and Mike has been obsessively grilling awesome food, the Twins are kicking some major butt, Lily starts a new preschool this fall and I am super pumped about it (more than her I'm sure), I have become addicted to a new show called Surviving Motherhood on TLC and, well, Dr. Phil, Mike is legally blind without his contacts, Peter just cut two of his two year molars (only two more to go), I went to the dentist after 4.5 years and I have no cavities, Lily went to the dentist for the first time and they are already recommending sealant at 3!!!, Rog fixed my brake this summer, Peter is in love with motorcycles and has an awesome train set now....which I think I love more than he does, Lily and Peter make me put them to bed with a Lion puppet, Lily is becoming very outgoing and has been making friends and leading them around the park, I've finished the kid's fall clothes shopping and had way too much fun doing it, we had a lemonade stand last week and met another stay at home mom that lives just 2 complexes over...and I thought I was the only one, my mom has a new boyfriend named Dusty, we have a stationary bike in our living room, I got a whole day to myself this summer..and it was heaven, I got swimmer's itch on Memorial Day and the pox scars still haven't disappeared completely, Once Upon a Child has awesome deals, I found an awesome whey protein powder at Lakewinds and have lost 3lbs, Mike has lost like 7lbs, we had Peter's 2 year pictures taken at Flash with a 50% off coupon and I love what we got, Peter is in love with his new Viking's outfit, Lily wants a real butterfly for a pet, the kids' new favorite t.v. show is Breakfast with Bear, my belly pudge is my motherhood badge of honor, I have been taking the kids to the trolley and Lifetime to swim a lot, we had a great time up on the cabin over the 4th, we took Emma to the Plymouth Fireworks and they were spectacular, we have missed having Maddie over this summer, my 5th year Gustavus reunion is coming up, I've been waking up early lately and rather enjoy it, I was born on a Wednesday with a full moon, according to my Life Path numbers I am suppose to be incompatible with my kids, but compatible with Mike, our gas alarm went off at 12:15 a.m. last night, Mike wants to shave his head, my mom now only weighs 5lbs more than me, Mike told me that when gas hits $5 a gallon that he is going to trade his car in for a bike, I really like avacados, Lily's hair now fits up into a ponytail....my little girl is growing up, we got a chore chart for the kids and it has been working like a charm, our dentist has digital x-rays and flat screen t.v.'s, the State Fair is coming, I really love summer and I can't wait for fall television.
