Total miles: 17.4 miles Average Heartrate:150-165 Average Pace: SLOW Nutrition: Lots of carbs. Not enough protein. No pop or coffee. But I am hungry!!! It's as if my metabolism hasn't skipped a beat. Notes: Running this week has felt great! After my 3.5 month long hiatus, I am back!!! I have started running with the kids in the Baby Jogger after nap time during the week. They love it!!! I think it's good resistance training and it's not too much of a distraction. I have to walk/run a lot though, because my heartrate gets so high on hills and such. We usually stop at the park afterwards, which they love. But overall, I think it has been a great week back. I am running half of what Maximus and Geartrain are running on a weekly basis, in order to get myself to marathon training pace by mid June, then the real training program begins. I plan to run the Twin Cities Marathon again in October. This will be #3 for me. But I love spring, it makes me love running.
