Apparently, I was on Kare 11 News on Sunday night for my stellar finish in the Human Race 5K in St. Paul. I finished it in 25:40, which is 8:16 pace. I placed 6 out of 86 in my division (F25-29), 19 out of 430 in my gender, and 104 out of 713 overall. This is leaps and bounds better than my very first 5K, where I ran it in 33 minutes.
Another strange tidbit, my race number for the race was 1115... My birthday!!! Somebody tell me the odds. I've only entered 6 races, with that four digit combination, in that order, and it's the only number with any significance to me, other than our anniversary and the kids birthdays. I also think its odd because the race was entitled "The Human Race" and then I get my birthday. I little eerie if you ask me.
I've ran over 100 miles in my training now. Yippppeeeee.
