I keep checking my website to see if anyone has posted a new post, almost as if someone else runs it. I also keep checking my email every 5 minutes to see if I have gotten a new email. If you can't tell, I'm a little bored. I think I have run out of things to talk about on my website. Not really run out of things to talk about, but I just am tired of always having to be politically correct and unbiased about my comments. I guess that's the problem of being a people pleaser.
I think my website needs a little "color" to it...just a biased slant here or there. I feel like all I ever post about is the kids, and I like that, because they are my life's work right now. I don't want my website to be just a news service, but also an editorial on life. I want to write about things I would like you to know. Basically, I want a commentary with my audience, something that talks back to me. I think that's why I am checking my website and email repeatedly for stimulation, it should be conversation. If I'm not getting something out of this site, then there is no point in having it, so things are a changing.
So, my real thoughts on the day....
- The food industry in America has everyone thinking that the mainstream food quality is good and nutritious. Fat chance... If you think your bananas, juice, carrots, yogurt, cereal and wheat bread are good for you and will help you lose weight, you are one of the mislead.
- Kids are a mirror of their caregivers. If you know an off the wall child, you should really start to question their caregivers.
A new flash...
- Peter is a turkey nerk. He is on a nursing strike right now. All he wants to do is watch him big sister and practice crawling. He really isn't interested in baby food either, he would rather eat what Lily is eating.
-Alyssa graduates from her Medical Assistant School tonight. Congrats!
-Lily has picked up some new words lately. She said "Shut up," for the first time last week. It was almost as if the world stopped. And she learned it from Grandma, go figure. It's suppose to be the other way around. She also picked up the word "hate" from Frosty the Snowman ("I hate the thermometer"), and the word "jerk" (she learned that one from me, but it was short lived). Kids this age are so pliable.
