So, I've been really bad about blogging in the last couple of weeks. Please forgive me. I am very busy around here. Although, it is getting much easier and as soon as Peter starts sleeping through the night, things will be great!
Here are a couple of happenings:
- I ran my first mile on Tuesday!!! It was such a mental feat. I am excited to get back to my old routine. Plus, it makes sleep deprivation much easier.
- Lily walks down the stairs face first now. It scares the bejesus out of me. She won't even hold my had. She just says "self, self." - Peter is smiling, cooing and rolling over!!! Boy, kids grow up fast.
- I just realized that out of all the women I know that are having babies, I am the only one with a boy!!! That is both a blessing and a curse.
- Lily is in the "asserted independence" stage of toddlerhood. She now puts on her own bibs, shirts, sandals, and pants, gets into the car herself, eats with real utensils, refuses to eat cut up foods, walks down the stairs, builds blocks, brushes her teeth, and much, much, more. I can't believe she will be two soon!!!
- I think I may have figured out what I want to be when I grow up. Although, I am going to mull it over for a couple of years to make sure.
- Peter's one month pictures turned out great! I would post them, but I don't have them in a digital format. I will get them back on August 11th.
- I have had a very productive week. I am actually starting to feel like life is returning to normal.
- I weighed Peter yesterday and he weighs 13.5lbs!!! I must be doing something right.
- We moved Lily's bedtime back to 7 o'clock. She was getting way too crabby. So now instead of talking in her bed until 9, she talks until 8.
