We saw a great Twins game last night! Joe Mauer seems to be a super star and may be my new favorite player (I pick a new one every year). But overall, I can't get over how much Guzman, Jones, and some of the other "original" Twins players suck at the plate. It's only been one game, I know, but come on. The game was fun though. Lily was crabby for the first hour, but her mood seemed to improve as the night wore on. She actually stayed up until 11:30 p.m!!! Ouch...that's late for her and for mom. We are tired, but it was worth it. She has her own sentence about the game. It goes something like "ball, T.C., bonk, music, dance, clap, Megan, Scott, Joe." I love hearing her talk.
Oh yeah, and damn it... I lost our March Madness pool. If only I would have kept Kansas. Congrats to Erik. I hate losing.
