Lily and I are having such a good week.

- We watched Liem (J.D.'s grandson/6 months) for the 1st time!!! It went really well. Lily was a little more clingy than usual and had a hard time going down for her nap, but overall handled it great! Liem is so mobile, that kid is going to be crawling in no time. But, I got both of them to nap at the same time, so I figured I did pretty well.

- We hosted our first playdate today. We actually got five babies and five mothers in our house!!! I was very impressed. But the kids played well, the mothers conversed, and we had yummy muffins. It's just what I needed.

- My Dad bought me a Juiceman Juicer this past week and do I ever love it!!! So far I have mixed carrots, oranges, strawberries, beets, pineapple, and apples. It's the best ever. Lily loves it too, she says, "More, more, more" everytime I make it. I am just happy she is getting her raw vegetables. Ahhhh, those antioxidants!

- We signed up for Simon Delivers and I love it!!! It's great for these last 3 months of pregnancy. My back has been driving me nuts. Anytime I lift anything, I am in bed with the heating pad on my neck and back. Ugh, pregnancy. But the big surprise, it's no more expensive than Cub. Go figure. They even have some Cosco bulk, which if fabulous. And, if you ever forget something, just add it later! The only negative, no Fiesta Nacho Cheese and not everything comes in super-size. I will have to put in suggestions.

- Otherwise, I am in the "stocking" faze of my nesting. I want to get everything bought early, so I am not lugging stuff around when I am REALLY big. So far we have 120 double rolls of toliet paper, 510 newborn diapers, 1600 wipes, and much, much more. Watch out garage sales...you'll be next.

- Mike and I also went to go see The Passion of Christ this past week. It is so graphic that it gives humanity to his death and then takes it away at the same time. But, it will make you love Jesus and realize more the reality of what he did for us. I liked it. But, I didn't have a huge emotional response from it. It is a very artistic movie, and I glad it is. As for all the media hype about the movie, I think the overall message was that Jesus was going to fulfill what he was supposed to do on earth no matter what anyone did. Mike's favorite part was when he stomped on the snake, basically saying, "Bring it on." It's a great movie and well worth the money.

- I love Lent.
