Mike, Lily and I have returned from the Wonderful World of Disney. Here are some highlights from the trip.
- We visited St. Petersburg where Lily saw the ocean for the first time. We also saw dolphins playing in the water. It was breathtaking. Our hosts also made us authentic Italian food. It was the best!
- We went on the Safari at Animal Kingdom. We got to see real hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and giraffes up close! It was my favorite. We also got to see the Lion King show, which measures up to the Broadway play.
- Lily is a fish in water! She loved playing in the pool with her daddy. She loves jumping in, climbing out, doing back floats and putting her face in the water. She cried every time we took her out.
- Mike and I had a great time looking around the countries at Epcot. It was really fun to see the countries after having been to a couple of them. Mike really liked Test Track too. I also discovered and want an Escalade.
- We went to dinner at Spoodles on the Disney Boardwalk for my birthday. It was sooooo good, I would fly back just to have dinner there again.
-Lily loves Pooh! She got to meet him 3 times while we were down there. She would hug him and kiss him. She liked Piglet, Eeorye, and Tigger too.
-You can't beat 80 degrees and sunny everyday in November.
- Lily got spoiled!!! She got so much attention, ate all of her favorite foods, got lots of presents, saw lots of fun things, and stayed up late! She had a great time. It will be interesting how she adjusts back to normal life!
- I love Latch.
- Oh yeah, and Mike and I turned 25!!!
And on a side note, I hate gloomy Minnesota weather. Bring on the 20 below and mountains of snow. I love extremes!
