I ran 18 whole miles today!!! They were great miles. I am calling this period of my running my "age of enlightenment" because I finally have my head in the game. There are some quirks though in my mental prepartion--by mile 15 I started talking to myself and by mile 17 I was yelling at cars that weren't yielding to runners. I swear Mike was ready to leave me in his dust. But, it was fun. Can you believe I am actually going to run a marathon? I think I am finally starting to believe it myself.
