Well, Lily had yet another adventure with mom again today. After picking up the car, driving it to a different dealer and then picking up my small, smoky and unluxurious Saturn rent-a-car, I got pulled over AGAIN!!! This time I got a ticket! I was going 43 in a 30mph zone. It was like one of those slow motion things. Where first I saw the radar stand on one side of the street, then I looked down to see my speed (which I was looking for my heads up display and, since I was in a different car, it wasn't there), then I pushed on the brakes, and then I saw the cop pulling behind me where I muttered, "Please don't pull me over, please don't pull me over." Well then he did, and I ran through the excuses in the back of my mind, thinking, "Twice in one day, this is impossible." And for a split second I thought, " There is no way he will give me a ticket, I have only been in this rent-a-car for five minutes max. I haven't even gotten a chance to get use to it yet". He didn't care though and gave me a ticket anyway. $105. I think I may go try to fight it. Any advice on the whole deal? What a day... Lily got to see two police cars with flashing lights today. At least she won't think police officers are strangers anymore. Rog said that he is going to paint the number 3 for my car for me. Ugh...
